The NFL has announced the league's compensatory picks, finalizing the draft order for April's selection weekend. The Arizona Cardinals did not receive any compensatory picks this year, as they signed more free agents than they lost in 2024. Consequently, the team will have six draft selections unless General Manager Monti Ossenfort makes trades on draft day.
In contrast to previous years when the Cardinals had higher picks, this year they hold the 16th overall pick. Their in-round slot is shared with other teams that finished with an 8-9 record: the Miami Dolphins, Indianapolis Colts, and Atlanta Falcons.
The Cardinals traded their original sixth-round pick to the Denver Broncos for linebacker Baron Browning and their original seventh-round pick to the Carolina Panthers for wide receiver Robbie Anderson. However, they acquired a seventh-round pick from the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for linebacker Cam Thomas.
Here are the Cardinals' selections along with their overall position in the 257-pick draft:
First round (16)
Second round (47)
Third round (78)
Fourth round (115)
Fifth round (152)
Seventh round (225, from Jets through Chiefs)
