The Cardinals have addressed part of their free agency concerns by signing left guard Evan Brown to a two-year contract. The team also retained veteran swing tackle Kelvin Beachum, who filled in as the starting right tackle for much of the season due to Jonah Williams' knee injuries.
Brown played a key role for the Cardinals in 2024, starting all 17 games and participating in 98 percent of the offensive snaps. His new contract could be worth up to $11.5 million. Previously, Brown had joined the team on a one-year free-agent deal and proved his value on the field.
Beachum, who started ten games last season, agreed to a one-year contract extension with the Cardinals. With both players secured, the team still faces decisions regarding other positions on the line. Will Hernandez, who was sidelined early due to an ACL tear, and backup guard Trystan Colon are both entering free agency.
The window for teams to discuss terms with free agents opened at 9 a.m. Monday morning. However, players can only sign with new teams starting Wednesday at 1 p.m., Arizona time.
