Doris Savron, MBA, vice provost of Colleges, Curriculum and Assessment at the University of Phoenix, has been appointed to the Greater Phoenix Chamber Foundation Board of Directors. Previously a member of the Greater Phoenix Chamber Board of Directors, Savron will now contribute to the foundation's mission to improve college and career readiness and workforce development.
Savron expressed her enthusiasm for the new role: “I am honored to serve on the Greater Phoenix Chamber Foundation Board. This role provides a unique opportunity to collaborate with dedicated leaders and drive initiatives that bridge education, business, and community efforts. The Foundation’s focus on strengthening education and workforce ties aligns seamlessly with my professional experience and I’m excited to get to work supporting its initiatives.”
The Greater Phoenix Chamber Foundation is a nonprofit organization focusing on education, workforce development, wellness, and research. It aims to align educational institutions with business needs and community efforts to better prepare individuals for their careers.

In her position at University of Phoenix, Savron oversees academic programs strategy, curriculum design, institutional assessment, degree offerings strategy as well as faculty oversight. With over 23 years in higher education experience she has held various roles including associate faculty member and regional vice president of student services.
Savron also serves on several boards such as Career Connectors' Board along with advisory councils like UPCEA’s Convergence Conference Council focused on leveraging non-degree credentials within higher education.
