Supt. Tom Horne and Maricopa County Sheriff Jerry Sheridan are set to address the issue of truancy and chronic absenteeism in a news conference. The event will take place at the AZED offices in Phoenix, with a focus on urging stronger law enforcement and court responses to this growing problem.
