Senator Ruben Gallego has recently taken to social media to address several pressing issues, from disaster relief to wage equality. Through a series of tweets on March 25, 2025, he expressed his concerns and legislative support regarding these matters.

In one tweet, Senator Gallego criticized the Trump administration's proposal to eliminate FEMA. He highlighted the importance of the agency for providing disaster relief in Arizona, especially with wildfire season approaching. He stated, "The Trump administration wants to eliminate FEMA, which provides relief to Americans after disaster strikes. In Arizona, wildfire season is around the corner. We can’t afford to play games with our safety."

On Equal Pay Day, Gallego voiced his support for the Paycheck Fairness Act aimed at addressing wage disparities between men and women. He emphasized that despite its apparent simplicity, achieving equal pay remains an issue in Arizona and nationwide. He tweeted, "Equal work. Equal pay. It seems simple. But women still make less than men in Arizona and across the country." He added his backing for legislation intended to end wage discrimination.

In another brief message posted later that day, Senator Gallego called for Pete’s resignation without further elaboration on the context or individual referred to in his statement: "Pete should resign https://t.co/2dY2xSMXRb"
