The NFL announced that the Indianapolis Colts will be "hosting" an international game in Berlin, Germany this coming season. This development raises the possibility that the Arizona Cardinals could play in Germany next season, as they have a road game against the Colts in 2025.

The league has confirmed three games in England, with the Jaguars, Jets, and Browns as "hosting" teams. The Cardinals are not included in these matchups because they do not play against the Browns or Jets and their game with the Jaguars is scheduled at State Farm Stadium.

Additionally, there will be a game held in Madrid, Spain. The host team for this event has not been revealed yet. If it is awarded to a team with marketing rights in Spain, it would likely be either the Bears or Dolphins—teams that are also not on the Cardinals' schedule.

The Colts are among the teams with marketing rights in Germany but will not know their opponent until after the draft when the schedule is released. Although it may not necessarily be the Cardinals, who last played internationally in Mexico in 2022, there remains a chance.

"It's been so long since the Cardinals played in Indianapolis that Carson Palmer was the QB and QB Andrew Luck, albeit injured, was still on the Colts' roster," according to A.J. Mast/AP.
