Sprouts Farmers Market has expanded its PowHERed by Sprouts program to include additional Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deals with eight female college athletes. This development is part of the company's ongoing commitment to supporting women's sports. Sprouts has positioned itself as a leader among natural grocery retailers in sponsoring women’s collegiate athletics, aiming to empower female athletes through nutrition and partnerships with sports figures.

“Sprouts is on a mission to power women both on and off the field, fueling performance through nutrition and partnering with athletes who are changing the game in women’s sports,” explained Nick Konat, president and chief operating officer of Sprouts. “We’re excited to welcome eight new incredible athletes to the Sprouts NIL roster, so together we can build a healthier and stronger future for all female athletes.”

The athletes joining the Sprouts NIL roster will share their experiences and favorite nutritious snacks via social media. The newly partnered athletes include:

- Hailey Hernandez, a highly decorated diver from Austin, Texas,

- Amari Whiting, a skilled basketball player from Stillwater, Oklahoma,

- Haleigh Bryant, a gymnast with numerous accolades from Baton Rouge, Louisiana,

- Zoe Summar, a notable swimmer from Tempe, Arizona,

- Megan Grant, a talented softball player from Los Angeles,

- Mjracle Sheppard, a promising basketball player from Baton Rouge, Louisiana,

- Delaney DeMartino, a determined soccer player from College Park, Maryland,

- Evie Minella, a field hockey player from Philadelphia.

Since 2022, Sprouts has supported over 160 female athletes through NIL partnerships, along with sponsorships of Arizona State University, the University of Southern California, the University of Texas, the Big 12 Conference, the Southeastern Conference (SEC), and Angel City Football Club.
