Abrazo Arrowhead Hospital is set to host its third annual Chili Cook-Off, an event aimed at honoring local first responders. Scheduled for Friday, November 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the event will take place at the Abrazo Arrowhead campus in Glendale, Arizona.
Participants are invited to taste various chili recipes provided by the hospital and vote for their favorite. The winner will receive the "Chili Bowl Traveling Trophy." Stephen Garner, CEO of Abrazo Arrowhead Hospital, commented on the significance of the event: “Besides delivering amazing care and service to our community, this event is a nice opportunity for Abrazo Arrowhead’s clinical teams to celebrate and relax with our Fire Rescue and Medical Air Transport partners and make amazing chili. We don’t just save lives - we make great food as well.”
The cook-off does not require registration; attendees can simply show up to enjoy the food and festivities while interacting with local first responders.
