The Greater Phoenix Chamber has announced its legislative priorities for 2025, focusing on key areas to support its 2,400 member businesses. The Chamber aims to advocate for policies that are pro-business and pro-growth at various government levels.

"The Greater Phoenix Chamber’s 2025 legislative agenda reflects the priorities of our members—first and foremost, we want to ensure that businesses have the tools they need to navigate through the current changes in government and economic challenges," stated Mike Huckins, senior vice president of public affairs and IT operations for the Chamber.

One of the main priorities is the extension of Proposition 123, which seeks to continue increased funding from the State Land Trust Fund for K-12 education. This measure is intended to enhance educational programs and resources available to schools and teachers.

The Chamber also emphasizes the importance of fiscally responsible investments in infrastructure projects such as public safety and transportation. These initiatives are crucial for driving economic development in the region and ensuring sustainable infrastructure for both businesses and residents.

Additionally, there is a focus on advocating regulatory policies that promote business development without imposing unnecessary mandates. The objective is to create an environment that supports business growth by removing barriers that could hinder operations.

For further details on these legislative priorities, individuals can refer to the 2025 Public Policy Guide. Mike Huckins is available for interviews or questions regarding these priorities. Interested parties should contact Lindsay Hanson to schedule.
