U.S. House. Rep. Debbie Lesko (R-AZ-08), who has previously demanded an answer from the Democrats on how the relief bill will help Americans, recently said that it contains huge funding for the Democrats' own interests.

“The Democrats’ “COVID-19 relief” bill contains over $1 trillion worth of funding for their absurd pet projects that have nothing to do with COVID-19,” Lesko wrote on Twitter. “It was never about COVID-19 – it was about taking advantage of a crisis to push their radical agenda.”

Her Tweet comes with a video that has been posted by the Senate Republicans warning Americans that the “Democrats' coronavirus relief bill is not actually about coronavirus relief.”

The video asserted that the bill “has a lot of bailouts, pork, and unrelated policy changes;” that “$350 billion would go to liberal states that imposed strict economic lockdowns;” will “artificially” increase the minimum wage to $15 per hour which the CBO said will result in 1.4 million job losses.

The Senate GOP video, which now has over 50,000 views, also claimed that “there's also millions of spending on arts, humanities, museums, and libraries;” encourages schools to remain closed “by funneling billions to school districts that still refuse to reopen classrooms.”

Billions in Democrat pet projects were also not disclosed in the bill, including a $1.5 million for Chuck Schumer’s bridge from New York to Canada, the video presented.
