The Phoenix Law Enforcement Association (PLEA) recently announced its official endorsement of State Rep. Matt Gress for reelection to the Arizona House of Representatives.
“PLEA is excited to show our support for candidates who support local law enforcement,” PLEA wrote in an Oct. 9 social media post. “We are proud to endorse State Rep. Matt Gress for reelection to the Arizona Legislature in District 4. Be sure to vote for Matthew Gress today if you live in LD4!”
Gress recently also received the endorsement of the Greater Phoenix Chamber PAC, a political action committee that supports pro-business candidates and policies at the state and local levels
“The Greater Phoenix Chamber PAC is proud to endorse incumbent Matthew Gress for re-election in LD 4,” the Greater Phoenix Chamber PAC wrote. “Thank you for your steadfast leadership and standing up for the business community!”
Elected in 2022, Matthew Gress is a Republican state representative for Arizona's Legislative District 4. He is a former public school teacher and budget expert with a background in local government and public finance. Gress has served as a school board member and the state's budget chief, focusing on education funding, border security, public safety, and reducing living costs. He advocates for increased teacher pay, election integrity, and fiscal responsibility. Raised in a small Oklahoma town, he now resides in Arizona with his partner Daniel.
