Judge John Hanna has denied the Arizona Republican Party’s request  to postpone the certification of election results in Maricopa County.

In that case GOP representatives were arguing the state’s election machines may have been hacked.

Hanna heard the case for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

In Maricopa County, Joe Biden’s vote tally is 1,040,774 votes to Donald Trump’s 995,665 votes.

Maricopa County is the state’s most populous county.

“Arizona voters deserve to have complete trust in their election procedures. They should also have supreme confidence that only legal ballots were counted in the 2020 election,” Kelli Ward, chairwoman of the Arizona Republican Party, told the Associated Press. “Failure to address their concerns actively harms our state and our nation.”

In Mohave County, elections board members have refused to certify the ballot in solidarity with the state.
