Phoenix Art Museum has announced a collaboration with Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, effective this week, exclusively for PhxArt Members. The partnership aims to alleviate travelers' stress by allowing members to visit the museum's exhibitions while the museum manages their flight check-in processes. This includes handling carry-ons, checking bags, and printing boarding passes.

According to the museum's CEO, Jeremy Mikolajczak, a high-speed, zero-emission underground train system connects the museum with the airport. The train travels at up to 800 mph, reflecting the museum's commitment to innovation and customer service. "One of the primary goals at PhxArt is to go above and beyond for our visitors and Members through innovative ideas, captivating art exhibitions, and incredible customer service, which is why this partnership made absolute sense to me. We hope that by leading the way and making art more accessible, we will encourage others to do the same."

Chad Makovsky, Aviation Director, shared his enthusiasm as well. “We understand travel can sometimes be stressful to even the most seasoned travelers. As part of our 90th anniversary celebration, we’re doing something about that as we launch an innovative partnership between America’s Friendliest Airport and Phoenix Art Museum. We are proud to be the first airport in the world to offer travelers the ability to begin their travel journey at one of America’s must-see art museums. Having one of the largest airport art programs in the country, this new partnership will provide Sky Harbor with an opportunity to further elevate the passenger experience with even more access to arts and culture.”

The offer is set to expire on April 1, 2025.
