The MIM Music Theater has announced its upcoming Summer 2025 Concert Series, with tickets set to go on sale to the public starting Thursday, April 24, at 10 a.m. The series will feature more than 60 concerts, showcasing artists from various genres around the globe.
The theater will host several notable performances, including Grammy-winning R&B singer Macy Gray, who is set to celebrate the 25th anniversary of her debut album "On How Life Is." Australian rock band the Church will perform, highlighting singles from their career spanning 1980 to 2025. Mickey Dolenz of the Monkees will share songs and stories from his extensive career, while Grammy-nominated folk singer Joan Osborne will present a special concert focusing on the music of Bob Dylan.
Newcomers to the MIM Music Theater this summer will include Grammy-winning soul singer Patti Austin and the influential country-rock band Pure Prairie League. Other debut performances will feature the innovative jazz trio New Jazz Underground, Grammy-winning jazz-rock group Blood, Sweat & Tears, and Grammy-nominated Afrobeat musician Femi Kuti with his band, the Positive Force.
Returning artists will include celebrated folk singer Don McLean, the Grammy-winning New Orleans group the Rebirth Brass Band, blues harmonica expert Charlie Musselwhite, the acclaimed singer-songwriter A.J. Croce, Grammy-winning R&B singer Lisa Fischer with her band Grand Baton, the Afro-Cuban ensemble the Pedrito Martinez Group, and Acoustic Hot Tuna featuring Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady of Jefferson Airplane.
Andrew Walesch, the artistic director of the MIM Music Theater, expressed enthusiasm for the season, saying, "We look forward to another incredible season of illustrious artists from around the world. MIM’s Summer 2025 Concert Series offers something for everyone who loves music, no matter the genre.”
Circle of Friends members who donate $500 or more annually will have early access to ticket purchases starting on April 16. Those contributing $250 or more will receive year-round member benefits, including advance purchase opportunities.
The MIM Music Theater announced that more artists will be added to the concert lineup throughout the season. Fans are encouraged to sign up for concert newsletters at MIM.org for the latest updates.
