Banner Health has been recognized on two prominent national lists for 2025, marking it as one of America's most trustworthy and innovative organizations. This is the second consecutive year Banner Health was acknowledged by Newsweek as a trustworthy company and the third consecutive appearance on Fortune's innovation list.

In response to these recognitions, CEO Amy Perry noted Banner Health's commitment to healthcare quality and innovation, stating: “Banner’s vision is to be the most trusted health partner for our dedicated teams, outstanding physicians, and the wonderful communities we serve..." Perry emphasized the importance of trust and innovation in Banner’s culture.

Banner Health employs its TRUST framework (Think ahead, Rebound fast, Understand everything, Seek advice, Tackle it together), contributing to improved health care quality scores, patient satisfaction, and patient safety. To enhance healthcare innovation, Banner is investing over $1 billion in technology and digital platforms, focusing on artificial intelligence to improve patient access and outcomes.

Notably, Banner is involved in over 1,300 clinical trials, such as those at Banner Alzheimer's Institute, aimed at developing prevention therapies for Alzheimer's disease by 2029.

On Newsweek's list, which covers 23 industries and 700 leading companies, Banner Health was the only Arizona-based organization recognized in the Health Care & Life Sciences category. Meanwhile, Fortune's list, developed in collaboration with Statista, assesses companies on product innovation, process innovation, and innovation culture.

Banner Health also earned a spot on Modern Healthcare’s 2025 Innovators Awards and Fast Company’s Best Workplaces for Innovators.

Banner Health is one of the largest secular nonprofit healthcare systems in the United States, operating 33 hospitals and providing a wide range of healthcare services across several states.
