Sprouts Farmers Market is set to open a new store in Aurora, Colorado on Friday, April 18, at 405 S. Chambers Rd. An opening ceremony will commence with a ribbon-cutting event at 6:45 a.m., followed by the store's opening at 7 a.m.
Aurora's Mayor, Mike Coffman, expressed his support for the store's opening, stating, "I am pleased to see Sprouts Farmers Market grow its footprint here in the city of Aurora and expand options for our residents who want access to fresh and healthy foods." He emphasized the store's strategic location, adding, "I am especially excited that Sprouts is opening this location so close to our municipal center and walking distance from a R Line light rail station. This store will play an important part in bringing more energy, activity, and jobs to this central, redeveloping portion of Aurora."
The grand opening weekend will feature various events from Friday, April 18, through Sunday, April 20. A "pop-up party" outside the store will offer activities such as tasting seasonal produce and a "guess the weight" contest of an oversized produce item. The first 200 shoppers on Friday and Saturday will receive a free reusable goodie bag with products and samples. Additionally, the first 400 guests on Friday will receive a complimentary long-stem rose from Falcon Farms Floral. Inside, customers can explore new products from various brands in the Vendor Village, with music and giveaways enhancing the celebrations.
Shoppers can benefit from a 20% discount on their purchases during the opening weekend by texting AURORA to 777-688 and scanning their app account barcode at checkout. Other promotions include viewing Sprouts' weekly ad with digital coupons and a chance to win a $500 gift card by signing up on the store's page on Sprouts' website.
Sprouts Farmers Market emphasizes community involvement by collaborating with local farms such as DiSanti Farms and donating unsalable but edible groceries to the Food Bank of the Rockies through its Food Rescue program.
The store will operate daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Further information and registration for the gift card giveaway are available at sprouts.com/aurora.
