The Arizona Cardinals have made significant moves in the early stages of NFL free agency. The team secured edge rusher Josh Sweat and veteran defensive lineman Dalvin Tomlinson. They prioritized re-signing outside linebacker Baron Browning, considered their top internal free agent, and retained starting guard Evan Brown and swing tackle Kelvin Beachum. Additionally, they acquired veteran backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett.

The inside linebacking corps has seen potential changes with the additions of Akeem Davis-Gaither and Mykal Walker. While veteran wide receiver Zay Jones was re-signed and Greg Dortch received a tender offer, there remains a possibility for further acquisitions at this position. The Cardinals might also look to add depth to their offensive line.

As the initial phase of free agency concludes, teams like the Cardinals begin focusing on the upcoming draft. Adjustments are expected during draft weekend, which could lead to another wave of free-agent signings to address any remaining roster gaps.

With their current roster count in the mid-70s, the Cardinals have limited space for additional pre-draft signings to reach their 91-man offseason limit (including international exemption tight end Bernhard Seikovits).
