Sprouts Farmers Market is set to open a new store in Largo, Florida, on March 21. The location at 2156 E. Bay Dr. will begin its operations with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6:45 a.m., followed by the opening of its doors at 7 a.m.

Mayor Woody Brown expressed enthusiasm for the addition to the community, stating, “We are thrilled to have Sprouts Farmers Market join the Largo community.” He highlighted that this development signifies Largo's commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment and aligns with the city's focus on wellness and sustainability.

The grand opening weekend from March 21 to March 23 will feature several activities, including a "pop-up party" where visitors can taste seasonal produce and participate in contests. The first 200 shoppers on Friday and Saturday will receive reusable goodie bags filled with products and samples. Additionally, the first 400 guests on Friday will be given long-stem roses from Falcon Farms Floral.

Inside the store, customers can explore new products from various brands at the Vendor Village while enjoying giveaways and music throughout the weekend. Shoppers can avail of a 20% discount on their purchases during the grand opening by texting LARGO to 777-688 and scanning their app account barcode at checkout.

Sprouts is committed to working with local farmers like Alderman Farms and Always Fresh Farms for sourcing local produce. Through its Food Rescue program, it plans to donate edible groceries not suitable for sale to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.

The store will operate daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., providing more information and opportunities to win gift cards through their website sprouts.com/largo.
