Sprouts Farmers Market is set to open a new store in Melbourne, Florida on March 14. The store, located at 5185 N. Wickham Rd., will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6:45 a.m., with doors opening to the public at 7 a.m.

The grand opening weekend, from March 14 to March 16, will feature several activities for visitors. A "pop-up party" outside the store will offer guests seasonal produce tastings and contests such as guessing the weight of an oversized piece of produce. These events are designed for family participation and will continue throughout the weekend.

The first 200 shoppers on Friday and Saturday will receive complimentary reusable goodie bags containing special products and samples. Additionally, Falcon Farms Floral will provide free long stem roses to the first 400 guests on Friday. Inside the store, customers can sample new products from various brands at Vendor Village. Giveaways and music are also planned for the weekend.

Shoppers can avail a 20% discount on their purchases during the grand opening weekend by texting WICK to 777-688 and scanning their app account barcode at checkout; this offer is limited to two redemptions per Sprouts account each day. The Sprouts app also provides access to weekly ads and digital coupons that can save customers over $100 monthly on groceries. Customers who sign up via Sprouts' website have a chance to win a $500 gift card until midnight on March 16.

Sprouts Farmers Market collaborates with local Florida farmers like Alderman Farms and Always Fresh Farms to source produce locally. Through its Food Rescue program, Sprouts will donate unsellable but edible groceries from this location to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, which distributes food to various community organizations.
