Phoenix Art Museum is set to host its annual gala, The pARTy in the Garden, on April 11, 2025. This year's event will feature the Phoenix premiere of "The World of Anna Sui," a major fashion exhibition showcasing the work of the renowned designer. The evening will include a cocktail hour and dinner under the stars at the Museum's Dorrance Sculpture Garden.

Following the gala, attendees can enjoy The afterpARTy, which offers dancing and dessert in a rarely accessed part of the museum. The event aims to raise nearly $1 million for exhibitions, arts education programs, and community access initiatives.

Jeremy Mikolajczak, Sybil Harrington Director and CEO of Phoenix Art Museum, expressed enthusiasm for hosting Anna Sui's work: “Phoenix Art Museum is very excited to host the Valley’s premiere of The World of Anna Sui at this year’s pARTy in the Garden.” He added that this year's gala promises an evening inspired by rock 'n' roll romance.

Anna Sui's exhibition includes approximately 100 ensembles from her archive. Organized by London's Fashion and Textile Museum, it highlights 12 archetypes central to Sui's aesthetic. The collection features garments, accessories, hairstyles, makeup, scent elements, and more.

Tickets for The afterpARTy are available separately for those not attending the main gala. Individual tickets start at $165 for non-members and $125 for members. For further details or ticket purchases, interested parties can visit phxart.org/afterparty.

The event chairs include Jordan Rose and Rob Walton for The pARTy in the Garden and Andrew and Jennifer Cooper for The afterpARTy.

Phoenix Art Museum has been engaging visitors since 1959 with its diverse exhibitions and collections. It hosts over 300,000 guests annually through various programs and partnerships.
