The Cardinals' coaching staff typically keeps their player evaluations private, offering general comments instead. However, after the recent loss to the Seahawks, coaches Jonathan Gannon and Nick Rallis openly discussed the team's effort level, specifically mentioning a lack of "motor" during the game.

"Motor is our effort," stated Gannon. "It wasn't egregious, but I pointed out some plays to everybody that we have to do a better job of."

Rallis supported this view by saying, "The motor needs to pick up at times."

These remarks are notable as the Cardinals are known for their high energy on the field in both victories and defeats. Rallis mentioned that there are always instances where effort can be improved, whether it involves an entire unit or individual players. He highlighted practice as crucial for instilling the habit of quickly reacting once a play begins. This was reportedly inconsistent against the Seahawks.

"I think we've had better games with our mode of play," Rallis commented.
