As Budda Baker took to the field on Sunday, his presence was felt in every corner. Despite showing signs of discomfort, Baker pushed through, reminiscent of his emotional plea to teammates during a 2022 Hard Knocks episode where he expressed frustration with losing.

On Sunday, against the Seahawks, Baker delivered a career-high 18 tackles. However, despite his efforts, the Cardinals' defense struggled after quarterback Kyler Murray threw two interceptions early in the game. Linebacker Mack Wilson Sr. noted that "everybody had plays they wanted back," while cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting remarked, "I thought we were ready."

The Seahawks outperformed the Cardinals, leaving Arizona in a challenging position moving forward. With Baker likely to be a Pro Bowl safety again this season, questions arise about whether his contributions will impact the team's overall success.

Running back James Conner's performance is usually indicative of success when he reaches 100 yards rushing. On Sunday, he fell short with 90 yards on the ground and an additional 32 receiving yards along with a touchdown. This marked only the second loss for the Cardinals in seven games when Conner nears or surpasses 100 yards.

Rookie Isaiah Adams started at right guard over Trystan Colon and played throughout all offensive snaps. The team is balancing playoff aspirations while preparing for future seasons.

Tight end Tip Reiman faced penalties last week; this time it was left tackle Paris Johnson Jr., who incurred three holding penalties during critical moments of the game.

Carson Palmer, a Ring of Honor member known for his successes against Seattle, attended to sound the pregame siren but could not transfer those good vibes into a victory.

Kyler Murray's struggles continued as he threw two interceptions for consecutive games for the first time in his career. Marvin Harrison Jr.'s offensive pass interference negated what could have been another interception by Seahawks defensive back Riq Woolen.

Trey McBride began slowly but ended strong with seven catches on 14 targets after being catchless until late in the third quarter. He aims to tie his franchise record for tight end catches next week against New England Patriots.

The Cardinals now face little room for error as they prepare to take on their next opponent.
