Baron Browning, recently traded to the Arizona Cardinals, spent his bye week differently than most. After being informed of his trade from the Denver Broncos, Browning quickly joined his new team and had little time to adjust.

"Before I left, I only brought clothes for the week," Browning stated. The bye week allowed him to settle into his new environment and make a brief trip back to Colorado for more belongings.

Browning used the time off to study the playbook further. He managed to play 18 snaps in a game against the New York Jets shortly after joining the Cardinals. "Anything I put my mind to I can do it," he said about preparing for his debut.

Rob Rodriguez, outside linebackers coach, noted Browning's football intelligence and mindset early on. They worked together during the bye week to define Browning's role on the team. Despite not recording a tackle against the Jets, Browning pressured quarterback Aaron Rodgers into a scramble that led to a strip-sack by Xavier Thomas.

Rodriguez praised Browning's dedication: "We've worked hard, but the guy has shown me a lot in his dedication to it." Coach Jonathan Gannon also acknowledged Browning's response well under Rodriguez’s guidance.

Browning has sensed a positive culture since joining the Cardinals and feels comfortable within their passionate linebacker group. November has been full of changes for him as he adapts to a new playbook and teammates.

"I'm trying to get in where I fit in and do my job at a high level," Browning concluded about his transition.
