The Arizona Cardinals are set to face the Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium on Sunday. The game is crucial for the Cardinals, who need a win to maintain their playoff chances. Despite having only three wins this season, the Panthers have shown improvement recently.

Offensive coordinator Drew Petzing is particularly motivated as he faces his brother Dean, who serves as an offensive quality control coach for the Panthers. "Anyone with a sibling knows everything is a competition," Petzing noted.

Arizona's strategy focuses on running the ball against a weakened Panthers defense. "If Arizona can run the ball down Carolina’s throat, everything else should fall into place," stated Dani Sureck.

On defense, the Cardinals boast an impressive pass rush with 16 different defenders recording at least one sack this season. Head Coach Jonathan Gannon emphasized that "more is more" when it comes to affecting the quarterback. Paul Calvisi highlighted that over their last eight games, the Cardinals rank second in scoring defense, allowing just 17.9 points per game.

Panthers quarterback Bryce Young has shown potential but struggled with turnovers in recent games. Despite these challenges, Young remains resilient and will look to upset Arizona's playoff ambitions in what will be Carolina's home finale. Zach Gershman remarked that it's up to the Cardinals to prevent Young from playing spoiler.

The game kicks off at 11 a.m., with odds favoring the Cardinals by four points according to BetMGM.
