Horizon High School's football team has been recognized with the AIA Sportsmanship Award. This honor was given by game officials, acknowledging the team's exceptional sportsmanship throughout the season. Horizon was the only team in the 5A conference to receive this award.
The award presentation took place during the State Championship game at Arizona State University. The AIA Sportsmanship Award is an annual tradition that recognizes one team from each conference for displaying exemplary sportsmanship, as judged by officiating crews.
The Horizon Football team's dedication to fair play and respect for opponents contributed to their recognition. Their positive conduct on the field earned them this prestigious accolade.
