The Greater Phoenix Chamber has announced the recipients of the 2023 IMPACT Awards. These awards honor businesses in both small and mid-to-large sectors for their contributions to the community and economy.

In the small business sector, The Joy Bus received recognition as both Community Champion and Industry Innovator. Duffy Group, Inc. was awarded as an Economic Driver and recognized for maintaining an Exceptional Workplace. Make-A-Wish Arizona was honored as the IMPACTful Nonprofit.

For mid-to-large businesses, Arizona Public Service (APS) was named Community Champion and also recognized for its Exceptional Workplace. Desert Financial Credit Union was acknowledged as an Economic Driver, while Phoenix Art Museum earned the title of IMPACTful Nonprofit. Sonora Quest Laboratories stood out as an Industry Innovator.

Kathleen Duffy, president and CEO of Duffy Group, Inc., expressed her gratitude: “We’ve worked so hard to not only contribute to the community but build a really exceptional place to work. To be recognized by the Greater Phoenix Chamber means the world to us!”

Joanna McCarthy from The Joy Bus Diner shared her appreciation: “We are grateful for all the community involvement and everyone who believes in what we are doing... To have the community backing everything Jennifer believed in... is the most rewarding.”

Jeff Meshey, president and CEO of Desert Financial Credit Union, remarked on their achievement: “We are so honored to win this award and be recognized for driving economic impact in the community... We appreciate the Chamber for putting on such a nice event!”

Todd Sanders, president and CEO of Greater Phoenix Chamber, highlighted these achievements: “The Greater Phoenix Chamber is proud to honor this year’s IMPACT Award recipients... We look forward to seeing their continued investment in the region.”

The awards were presented during the 36th Annual IMPACT Awards event.
