Darius Robinson, a rookie defensive tackle for the Arizona Cardinals, remains sidelined as his rehabilitation continues. Coach Jonathan Gannon stated on Wednesday morning that Robinson is "doing a good job" in his rehab, but his status has not changed. As a result, he will not be playing this week.

Robinson was eligible to have his practice window opened for the first time, yet the Cardinals chose not to do so. The implications of this decision are unclear beyond confirming that Robinson will not participate in the upcoming game against the 49ers. The team acknowledges they could benefit from Robinson's presence on the field, a need recognized since training camp and following his calf injury during practice.

Coach Gannon refrained from providing specific timelines regarding injuries, describing such discussions as "hypotheticals." Consequently, questions remain about when Robinson might return.

In contrast, another rookie on injured reserve (IR), offensive tackle Christian Jones, had his practice window opened on Wednesday. This move gives the Cardinals three weeks to activate him to the 53-man roster; otherwise, he must stay on IR for the rest of the season.
