The Cardinals resumed practice in pads on Friday, displaying solid performance on both defense and offense. Darius Robinson and Greg Dortch were among the standout players, contributing to a team that appeared to be in rhythm.

However, outside linebacker BJ Ojulari sustained an injury late in the session during an 11-on-11 play. Concerned about his left leg, Ojulari required assistance from two trainers to reach the locker room but was not carted off the field. Head coach Jonathan Gannon is expected to provide an update before Saturday's practice. This potential injury raises concerns for a team already addressing questions about their edge players.

"It's football," said right tackle Jonah Williams, who was blocking Ojulari when he went down. "I hope he's all right. He's a great player and I enjoy playing with him."

Earlier, defensive coordinator Nick Rallis commented on his practice demeanor after being noted by Coach Gannon for trash-talking. "I'm upping my game," Rallis remarked with a smile. His defense performed well; Robinson recorded multiple sacks and tackles for loss, while linebacker Mack Wilson Sr. intercepted a screen pass from Desmond Ridder. Safety Verone McKinley III secured his second interception of camp by picking off Clayton Tune during the final play.

The offense also had notable moments as Dortch continued his strong camp with several impressive catches during 7-on-7 drills, including a one-handed grab from Tune’s throw. Michael Wilson caught a deep pass from Kyler Murray, whose accuracy on long throws has been encouraging.

Marvin Harrison Jr., despite failing to secure a challenging one-handed catch in traffic, showcased his considerable talent throughout practice.

The Cardinals practiced without C Hjalte Froholdt, WR Zay Jones, DL Justin Jones, DL Naquan Jones or CB Kei'Trel Clark due to undisclosed issues. Additionally, CB Elijah Jones exited Friday's practice early.

An NFL officiating crew attended both Friday's session and Saturday's Red and White practice to review rule changes with players and media:

1) Coaches need only one correct replay challenge out of two to earn a third.

2) The hip-drop tackle has been banned; illegal plays might not always be flagged but can result in fines upon review.

3) Changes regarding dynamic kickoffs include penalties for kicking beyond the opposing team's 40-yard line during onside attempts notified beforehand.
