The City of Phoenix has recognized Joelle Wecklein of Pinnacle High School and Eeshaan Varshith Malladi from Paradise Valley High as the Phoenix Youth Leader of the Year for District 2. The recognition took place this year, honoring both students at a luncheon where they were presented with a certificate and a cash prize. In addition to these accolades, both honorees will have the opportunity to participate in citywide programs and make special appearances to promote youth issues.

The Outstanding Phoenix Youth Leader of the Year program is an initiative by the City of Phoenix. It aims to recognize and honor young people for their exceptional achievements, improve the perception of youth, and raise community awareness about their positive contributions.
