The spring season marked the introduction of girls' flag football in PVSchools, with each high school competing twice. Despite the impressive performance of the Pinnacle High School Pioneers, it was the Paradise Valley High School Trojans who emerged victorious in the championship.

PVSchools expressed gratitude towards the individuals who dedicated their efforts to make the inaugural season a success, stating, "PVSchools commends the student-athletes, staff, and volunteers who put in the hard work to contribute to a successful first season." The school district highlighted the collective achievements of all the participating girls, emphasizing their pride and hard work that paved the way for future success in flag football.

Looking forward, the PVSchools Athletics Department plans to expand the flag football program by competing against teams from other districts. The anticipation for growth and success in the sport is high, with exciting opportunities on the horizon for aspiring female athletes.

In addition to celebrating team accomplishments, individual excellence was also acknowledged. Sergio Gilliam from Pinnacle High School was named the inaugural PVSchools District Flag Football Coach of the Year, further recognizing the dedication and leadership within the program.
