Dr. John Stewart of Arizona Breathe Free Sinus & Allergy Centers told PHX Reporter that many of his patients feel so much better after treatment that they tell him they wish they'd been treated years ago.

Arizona Breathe Free Sinus & Allergy Centers provides a Sinus Self-Assessment Quiz where you can select symptoms you deal with that could pertain to sinusitis and receive a score that represents how much your sinuses impact your quality of life. Some of the symptoms are directly associated with the sinuses, such as congestion and experiencing nasal drainage, while other symptoms may seem more mental or psychological, such as fatigue or lack of ability to concentrate.

"A lot of patients don't realize how bad they feel until they get [their issues] corrected," Stewart said. "That's very gratifying, to hear that you made a big impact on them. Some of our biggest advocates go around and tell their friends and family and neighbors."

Stewart is a board-certified physician who specializes in treating ear, nose and throat (ENT) patients. Dr. Stewart graduated summa cum laude from Grand Canyon University before getting a medical degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then finished his residency in otorhinolaryngology/facial plastic surgery at the Freeman Hospital & Health System in Joplin, Missouri.

Stewart then completed his fellowship in neuro-otology and skull base surgery. His hobbies include hiking, playing golf, participating in triathlons and spending time with his family. He is passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest innovation and technology in sinus surgeries, and he was among the first physicians in the country to start doing balloon sinuplasty procedures in 2010.

Arizona Breathe Free Sinus & Allergy Centers offers a variety of solutions to treat the underlying conditions that cause sinusitis and allergies and to provide permanent relief. The practice is located on East Bell Road in Scottsdale.
