Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport marked National Pet Day on April 11 by highlighting some of their employees' pets and their Navigator Buddies. The announcement, shared via a tweet from the airport's official account, illustrates the personal side of the airport, aiming to engage with the public through light-hearted content.

On the same day, the airport tweeted about an event hosted on April 10, in conjunction with Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego, the Transportation Security Administration, and the Arizona Department of Transportation. This event emphasized the importance of the imminent May 7 deadline for REAL ID compliance. According to the tweet, the airport aims to ensure that travelers are well-informed about the new requirements affecting air travel.

Later in the day, another tweet acknowledged the role of PHX’s Lost and Found Office in reuniting passengers with lost belongings. The tweet particularly mentions a success story involving a passenger named Vicki, highlighting the proactive measures taken by the airport to address common travel issues.

As part of their ongoing development, Breeze Airways joined Phoenix Sky Harbor with new services, and recent leadership changes have been announced. Roxann Favors and Jay DeWitt have assumed key positions as Assistant Director/Chief Revenue Officer and Assistant Director/Chief Development Officer, respectively. These appointments are intended to enhance management and development of the airport's services and infrastructure.
