The former regional engagement coordinator for Black Voices for Trump, and the founder of King Consulting, Quisha King, says Biden's Executive Order on Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government contradicts the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
In her op-ed article published in The Western Journal, King highlights how the executive order contradicts the 1964 CRA.
According to King, “the Biden-Harris administration has decided the Civil Rights Act of 1964 is irrelevant and we do in fact need to discriminate on the basis of race, color, and religion.”
She pointed out that while the CRA prohibits discrimination, King said that Biden’s order states that “identity groups must be used to determine access” to systems, citing the goal of the order is “to assist agencies in assessing equity with respect to race, ethnicity, religion, income, geography, gender identity, sexual orientation, and disability.”
Referring further to the order declaring that “many Federal datasets are not disaggregated by race, ethnicity, gender, disability, income, veteran status, or other key demographic variables,” King presented that the term “disaggregation means the datasets will be organized by the above identities, which was prohibited in the Civil Rights Act, and that organization will help determine if you can participate in these systems.”
