The Phoenix MBDA Business Center (MBDA) is a federally funded program, operated by the Arizona Hispanic Chamber. The Center is focused on securing large public and private contracts,

financing transactions, stimulating job creation and retention, and facilitating entry to global markets for eligible minority-owned businesses. We are here to help businesses generating annual revenues of $1 million or more, or those focused on high-growth industries, such as green technology, clean energy, health care, broadband technology, and others.

Our NABEDC (www.NABEDC.com) team offers business development services for entrepreneurs and existing business owners.  They focus on assistance with starting a business or growing existing businesses through one-on-one consulting (even by phone), technical assistance, and classes/workshops trainings.  In addition to standard business services, NABEDC also provides resources for youth and veterans.

AscendPhoenix

Our newest endeavor is AscendPhoenix. AscendPhoenix is powered by JP Morgan Chase and works in a collaborative effort with the AZHCC, Phoenix MBDA Business Center, NABEDC, and CPLC Prestamos CDFI. Under the Ascend Three-M Model, consisting of Money, Management, and Markets, services offered by the AscendPhoenix team will include resources for improving management skills, creation of a pipeline of opportunities in Arizona, access to money & financial literacy, and growing market connections in a tailored approach to maximize services offered by Arizona-based businesses. The overarching goal is to create multiple pathways to new opportunities, assist with securing additional revenue, and provide enhanced direction to business management.

Whether you are thriving or surviving, we are here for you.  As we face this epidemic together, we echo the words of Governor Ducey, “Stay home, stay healthy, and stay connected.” Together, we will emerge from the challenges of COVID-19, stronger than ever.
