Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport recently issued a series of announcements via its social media platform, covering cultural events and achievements involving its partners. These updates provide insights into activities in and around the airport, as well as recognition received by associated entities.

On April 16, 2025, Sky Harbor revealed that Navajo artist and architect Calandra Cook will be present at the Culture Corner in Terminal 3 on Friday, April 18. Visitors will have the opportunity to try weaving on a community loom during the event, scheduled to occur between Gate F3 and F4 from 1-3 p.m. More information can be found in the tweet "Navajo artist and architect Calandra Cook will be at the Culture Corner in Terminal 3 Friday, April 18. The next day, on April 17, 2025, the airport hinted at an event happening that morning in Terminal 4 but provided no further details. Interested parties could view further information through the link provided in their tweet "Taking place this morning in Terminal 4."

Later on April 17, 2025, the airport expressed pride in its HMSHost partner restaurants, specifically applauding Barrio Cafe, Chelsea’s Kitchen, and Blanco Tacos + Tequila for being recognized at the Newsweek 2025 Readers Choice Awards for Best Full-Service Airport Restaurants. Additional applause can be found in their tweet "Very proud of our HMSHost partner restaurants for dominating the Newsweek 2025 Readers Choice Awards for Best Full-Service Airport Restaurants! Previously, on August 10, 2022, Breeze Airways COO Michael Wuerger announced new services from Phoenix to Charleston, South Carolina, and Provo, Utah, starting November 2, 2022. These flights, departing from Terminal 3, were scheduled to run twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Additionally, Roxann Favors and Jay DeWitt were appointed to leadership roles within the City of Phoenix Aviation Department, bringing extensive experience to these new positions as of August 15, 2022.
