PVSchools has announced that 12 student artists will have their artwork added to the District Art Collection. These students, representing various grade levels, will be honored at a special ceremony during the Governing Board meeting on April 17.
The District Art Collection highlights the creativity and skill of student artists within PVSchools and demonstrates the district's commitment to arts education. It continues to be enriched with new artwork, showcasing diverse artistic expressions from students across the district.
The honorees include elementary students Analeigh Baldwin from Quail Run Elementary School, Lola Poetzl from Mercury Mine Elementary School, Emma Sordahl from Boulder Creek Elementary School, and Owen Sowinski from Desert Trails Elementary School.
Middle school honorees are Yesenia Aguirre from Shea Middle School, Charlotte Falk from Sunrise Middle School, Layla Portugal from Desert Shadows Middle School, and Annastyn Vachal from Mountain Trail Middle School.
High school students Yahaira CarilloGonzalez from North Canyon High School, Kate Hanson from Pinnacle High School, Natalie Trujillo from Shadow Mountain High School, and Alexis Wren from Horizon High School are also among those recognized.
