On April 4th, 2025, Gallego voiced his concerns about Senate Republicans' stance on key social programs. "Senate Republicans refuse to stand up for Medicaid, Social Security, and veterans, because they’re afraid of.... this guy??" he posted.
Later that day, Gallego paid tribute to a significant historical figure. "Today we remember Dr. Martin Luther King. Jr. Not just with words, but with action. Keep pushing for justice." Senator Gallego encouraged his audience to continue advocating for justice in honor of Dr. King's legacy.
On April 5th, 2025, Gallego addressed fiscal policy concerns regarding proposed tax benefits for wealthy individuals. He highlighted the potential repercussions for essential public services. "BREAKING: Right now Republicans are moving forward on their efforts to give billionaires a $4.6 trillion handout—paid for by cuts to Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and SNAP. Arizonans can’t afford to foot the bill for Elon and his cronies, and they shouldn’t have to."
