Senator Ruben Gallego, representing Arizona's 3rd district in the U.S. Congress since 2015, has recently taken to social media to address key issues concerning his constituents. His tweets highlight concerns over Medicaid, support for veterans, and border security improvements.

On March 18, 2025, Senator Gallego tweeted about a town hall meeting held in Douglas, Arizona. He emphasized the importance of Medicaid for rural Arizonans and criticized Republican budget plans that could potentially reduce its funding. "Today we were in Douglas, AZ for our second Save Medicaid town hall."

Later on the same day, he addressed veterans and their families in Sierra Vista through another tweet. He expressed his commitment to advocating for better treatment of veterans by the administration. "I’ll tell you what I told the veterans and families who joined us today in Sierra Vista."

The following day, March 19, 2025, Senator Gallego shared his efforts towards enhancing border security after visiting the Raul Hector Castro Port of Entry in Douglas. He mentioned securing significant funding for improvements but acknowledged the need for further action to boost trade and curb fentanyl trafficking. "Im fighting for a secure, efficient border."
