The Paradise Valley Unified School District Governing Board has announced the selection of three finalists for the position of superintendent. The candidates are Dr. Todd Cummings, Dr. Cain Jagodzinski, and Dr. Gary Zehrbach. These individuals will participate in a final round of interviews and a community meet-and-greet event scheduled for March 25.
Following these activities, the Governing Board will proceed with selecting and negotiating a contract with the next district leader.
To facilitate community engagement, recorded video interviews with each finalist have been made available on the district website's superintendent search page. These videos can be accessed until 8:00 a.m. on March 24, 2025. Community members are encouraged to provide feedback via a survey form after viewing the interviews.
Additionally, there will be an opportunity for direct interaction during a meet-and-greet event on March 25 from 4:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., at the District Training Center in Phoenix. Attendees will have the chance to meet the finalists and offer input through a digital feedback form provided at the event.
The information gathered from these engagements will assist the Governing Board in making their final decision regarding the new superintendent.
