Whispering Wind Academy students have excelled at the 3rd annual Arizona State Mandarin Speech Competition, which took place at ASU earlier this month. The school achieved significant recognition, securing a first-place trophy, three second-place trophies, and three third-place trophies.
The success of these students highlights their dedication and the effectiveness of the school's Mandarin Immersion program. Whispering Wind Academy was notably represented with seven out of 14 finalists being from their institution.
In Division B for 3rd and 4th-grade participants, Kiara from 4th grade won first place. Donovan, Samantha, and Kian, also from 4th grade, earned second place. Carter, Garrett R., and Nadia from 3rd grade secured third place.
PVSchools has expressed pride in these achievements and affirmed its commitment to supporting language and cultural education throughout the district.
