State Representative Lisa Fink has introduced a series of bills in the Arizona House of Representatives aimed at countering what she describes as federal overreach. According to Fink, these measures are designed to restore state sovereignty and empower Arizona citizens by enhancing transparency in elections, boosting economic prosperity through natural resources, and ensuring the health and safety of residents.

Fink's legislative package includes HB2059, which seeks to exempt Arizona and its state agencies from certain federal regulations affecting natural resource industries such as mining, coal, oil, and gas. She argues that these federal mandates infringe on constitutional boundaries and hinder the state's economic growth.

Another bill, HB2060, focuses on election integrity by enforcing existing laws related to voter registration, citizenship, residency, and identification requirements. Fink emphasizes the importance of securing elections from external interference to maintain public trust.

Additionally, Fink addresses environmental concerns with HB2056. This bill targets federal initiatives involving weather modification techniques like geoengineering and solar radiation management. Fink asserts that Arizona's environment should be managed by the state rather than influenced by federal or international entities.

"The message is clear: Arizona will not tolerate unconstitutional federal overreach," Fink said. She calls for support in her efforts to prioritize Arizona's autonomy over various issues including energy independence and election security.

Lisa Fink represents Legislative District 27 in the Arizona House of Representatives. Her district encompasses parts of Glendale, Peoria, and Phoenix.
