Ruben Gallego, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 3rd district since 2015, has been vocal on social media about various political issues. He succeeded Ed Pastor and has previously served in the Arizona House of Representatives from 2012 to 2014. Gallego, born in Chicago in 1979 and a Harvard graduate, currently resides in Phoenix.
On February 12, 2025, Ruben Gallego criticized Tulsi Gabbard for her actions and influence as the Director of National Intelligence. In his post, he stated: "Tulsi Gabbard peddles conspiracy theories, echoes Russian propaganda, and met with Bashar al-Assad, a dictator who killed his own people. America is weaker with her as the Director of National Intelligence."
Later that day, Gallego addressed economic challenges faced by families in Arizona. On February 12, he tweeted: "Arizona families are stuck in a vicious cycle of rising inflation, skyrocketing housing costs, and high interest rates. There’s no easy fix, but I’m committed to working together to find real solutions that help hard working Americans."
The following day on February 13, Gallego commented on former President Donald Trump's promises regarding price reductions. He posted: "Donald Trump said he would IMMEDIATELY bring prices down. Instead, Americans at the grocery store and the gas pump are watching prices soar while Trump is busy playing house with Elon Musk."
