On February 8, 2025, Gallego expressed his appreciation for leaders across Arizona committed to ensuring safety and security for all residents. He stated: "Grateful for leaders throughout our state who are committed to building a safe and secure future for every Arizonan."

A day later, on February 9, 2025, he mentioned meeting Brett Yormark, the Big 12 commissioner. In the same tweet, he extended his greetings for Super Bowl Sunday to Arizona residents: "Great to meet with Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark this week! Happy Super Bowl Sunday, Arizona!"

In a tweet dated February 10, 2025, Gallego criticized the Trump/Musk administration's attempts to influence VA doctors and nurses through financial incentives.
