PVSchools is offering an opportunity for individuals interested in becoming bus drivers by providing a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) at no cost. The initiative includes paid training and covers all expenses related to obtaining a CDL, aiming to remove financial barriers for those pursuing this career. This program not only helps address the district's bus driver shortage but also offers community members a chance to acquire valuable skills.

PVSchools emphasizes its commitment to employee success and well-being. In addition to the CDL, they offer a competitive benefits package that includes free employee-only medical benefits, dental and vision insurance, participation in the Arizona State Retirement System with employer matching pension, paid holidays, paid time off, flexible driving schedules, and a comprehensive health and wellness program. Until May 2025, bus drivers and qualified Transportation Department staff can earn a $100 weekly attendance incentive.

The district encourages individuals to consider becoming bus drivers as part of their contribution to student success.
