Superstar Teraya Sigler has been named the 2024-25 Gatorade Arizona Volleyball Player of the Year. Sigler, who recently graduated from Horizon High School, is recognized as one of the nation's top high school athletes for her performance on the court, in academics, and in community service.

The Gatorade Player of the Year program annually honors one winner from each state across various high school sports. Winners are selected based on nominations and evaluations by coaches, scouts, media members, and other experts.

Sigler, an outside hitter, impressed judges with her volleyball statistics, academic achievements, and commitment to community service. She was ranked as the nation's No. 1 recruit in the Class of 2025 and was a member of the U.S. Under-21 Women's National Team. Sigler helped lead her team to gold at the NORCECA Championships last summer, finishing her prep volleyball career with 1,951 kills and 1,128 digs.

"It goes without saying that Teraya Sigler is a force to be reckoned with! Horizon High School and PVSchools are proud of all the hard work, dedication, and commitment she has put into academics, sports, and community service."

"We wish her the best of luck on her new journey at the University of Nebraska!"
