PVSchools is set to host its renowned Gifted Speaker Series on January 14, 2025, at the District Training Center. The event will feature Dr. Laura Wingers and Dr. Beth Richter as guest speakers. Both are clinical psychologists with CENTER Psychology & Consulting, specializing in pediatric neuropsychology and working extensively with gifted children.

The series aims to provide insights into parenting twice-exceptional (2E) children, often described as navigating a "three-ring circus." Topics will include identifying giftedness, balancing the needs of gifted children, managing anxiety, and enhancing executive functioning skills.

"This presentation will ensure that every parent can help their child develop critical skills in order to shine," stated the organizers.

The event is open to all parents and guardians of gifted students from public, private, or charter schools. Attendance is free for both in-person and live-stream participants. Registration is required only for those opting for the live-stream link.
