What the Arizona Cardinals envisioned for their 2024 season did not materialize, leading to disappointment within the team. Head Coach Jonathan Gannon expressed his discontent, stating, "I'm disappointed we're not playing right now, and that falls on me first and it's our own doing." He added, "I also told them the game is fair. We shouldn't be playing right now."

The Cardinals ended their season with eight wins under Gannon's leadership, doubling their previous win total. The team now focuses on making improvements for next season, with expectations of a playoff berth.

General Manager Monti Ossenfort is tasked with enhancing the roster during the offseason. The Cardinals have the 16th overall pick in the upcoming draft and six selections overall unless trades are made. They must also make decisions regarding several free agents after securing extensions for key players like Budda Baker and Zaven Collins.

Gannon acknowledged inevitable changes: "Everybody in this building knows change is inevitable," he said. "That's going to happen. The team is not going to look like this."

With about $83 million in salary cap space, fourth-most in the NFL according to overthecap.com, the Cardinals have financial flexibility for roster adjustments.

As they prepare for next season, azcardinals.com writer Darren Urban provided insights into most of the team's roster as it stands heading into the offseason.
