However, the Cardinals would edge out due to a better win-loss percentage in common games (5-7) compared to the 49ers' (4-8).

This third-place finish alters the lineup of opponents for the Cardinals in their upcoming 2025 season. They will host games against teams like the Green Bay Packers and will travel for matches against formidable opponents such as the Cincinnati Bengals and Dallas Cowboys.

In contrast, finishing fourth means that the 49ers will face different teams, including hosting a game against the Chicago Bears and playing away matches against teams like the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants.
