The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors is currently seeking candidates for the role of Manistee Justice Precinct Constable. Lennie McCloskey, who presently holds the position, will resign effective December 31, 2024. The precinct encompasses areas in Glendale and Peoria within Supervisorial District 4, as well as parts of Districts 5 and 3.

According to legal requirements, the appointee must be a Republican like McCloskey, reside in the Manistee Justice Precinct, and be a registered voter in Arizona. The appointed individual will serve for the remainder of the current term.

Interested individuals are invited to submit their letters of interest along with a resume to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors. Applications can be sent via email at clerkboard@maricopa.gov or by direct mail to Clerk of the Board of Supervisors at 301 W. Jefferson St., Phoenix, AZ 85003 (10th floor). The deadline for applications is January 10th at 5 pm. It should be noted that all documents submitted will become public records and applicants will undergo a background check.
