The NFL has scheduled the Arizona Cardinals' Week 17 game against the Los Angeles Rams for Saturday, December 28. The game will kick off at 6:15 p.m. Arizona time (8:15 p.m. ET) and will be broadcast nationally on NFL Network and locally on KPNX (Ch. 12).

Initially, the dates for both the Cardinals' Week 17 and Week 18 games were not confirmed when the schedule was released. While details of their home game against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 18 remain unannounced, a Saturday matchup is unlikely due to the 49ers playing on Monday night in Week 17 against the Detroit Lions.

Currently leading the NFC West with an 8-6 record, the Rams recently secured a victory over the San Francisco 49ers and are set to face the New York Jets in Week 16. Meanwhile, the Cardinals, holding a record of 7-7, will play against Carolina this week.

In their previous encounter in Week 2 at State Farm Stadium, Arizona dominated Los Angeles with a decisive score of 41-10. However, since then, the Rams have improved significantly post-bye week with a record of seven wins and two losses.

The Seattle Seahawks (8-6), who were previously atop the division standings, fell behind after losing to the Green Bay Packers last Sunday night due to a head-to-head loss against Los Angeles. They are scheduled to face each other again in Week 18.

With implications for determining the division champion still at stake, particularly depending on how Seattle fares at home this week against Minnesota Vikings (12-2), this upcoming Cardinals-Rams clash could prove pivotal as Arizona remains in contention.
